About Us

Who & Where We Are...

The Syracuse University Alumni Club of South Florida is a piece of Syracuse in South Florida.   Our club covers the counties of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade.  Did you know that there are over 3,800 living alumni in this area?

The mission of the club is to continue the bonds of fellowship amongst and between alumni of Syracuse University though they are now many, many miles from Syracuse, NY and years separated from their days on the Hill.  We do this using the vehicles of social gatherings, events, and community service.  The SUACSF is open to all who have any connection to the University be they current students, alumni, families of same, or just people who would like to have a tie to Syracuse.

In addition to this website, the club publishes an e.newsletter called South Florida Orange Squeezings.  We currently send this out by e.mail about 10 times a year to over 700 of our 860 club members.  If you would like to be on our mailing list push the Register button on the left or send an e.mail message to bob@s-i-inc.com .  Because of the cost of a USPS mailing, this is the only way you can keep informed as to our activities.

Syracuse University Official Website This is the University's main website.  It is the gateway to all other SU pages.

Office of Alumni Relations  Although you can navigate to this site from the Syracuse home page, this is the most convenient way to all thing of interest to alumni.  Of particular note is the on-line database of all SU alumni.

University Bookstore  A great place to buy SU gear and paraphernalia.

Manny's  A second source from which to purchase great looking Orange stuff.

The Daily Orange  Keep in touch with what is going on.  The DO keeps all alumni informed as to current events on the Hill.

SU News  The Syracuse University News keep readers informed as to what the University is saying in public.  Syracuse University News is an online service of Syracuse University's Office of News Services. Most of the stories and photos found on this Web site also appear in the Syracuse Record, SU's weekly newspaper.

SU Athletics Forum Syacuse.Scout.com  Here is an independent forum in which to read and discuss the teams that wear Orange.
